"NEA-RA Orlando 2023...Another RA in the books! Working for our members locally and statewide is an honor. My eyes are always opened to the benefits Alabama has; such as the payroll reduction and so many other incredible benefits. Our neighboring states are currently fighting for the benefit of payroll deduction. There is always work to be done and recognize that more and more at each RA I attend.

Your local delegates attended the 2023 AEA State Delegate Assembly in Birmingham. Resolutions were debated and the future of AEA was planned

First Annual Jingle Mingle at the AEA/BCEA Office in Loxley. Active, ESP and Retired Members meet to celebrate the holidays and fellowship with each other while enjoying a hot cocoa bar and cookies. Donations of socks were collected for local nursing homes and toiletries were collected for our local women’s shelter. Door prizes were given and memories made.
